Dream closet feature for Pixie footwear

Welcome back to my blog everyone! I have had a bit of time off to focus on school work but i'm back!

Today i have got a very exiting post for you and it is a feature for Pixie footwear. They have a range of winter/autumn boots which are lovely and i'm going go through my top three:

Emily Berry     Emily Berry (£64.95)

The color of these are gorgeous and the wedge adds that little bit more class. I love the fact that they are lace up because they will feel more secure around your ankle. I love the faux fur as well! These are my favorite of the three.

 Rosie CamelRosie Camel (£69.95)
This is your classic winter boot and it is such a cute color. It seems like it is very supportive in your feet (good for a long shopping trip)

Lucy GreyLucy Grey (£64.95)
Once again I love the color and that it is an ankle boot. It is just so nice!

All of these would make perfect Christmas presents!

You can access their website here!

If I don't post in the next week, have a wonderful Christmas!

self confidence and anxiety

Hi guys,

This is a bit of an advice post and it's a colab with Ellie and you can check out what she has written about this topic here!! Anyway lets get into it.

1.  If you are in a tough situation and you feel stressed try to take deep breaths. Breathe in and out slowly and it will calm you down.

2. Train your brain to think positive thoughts instead of negative ones e.g.  Instead of saying - She's so smart, I will never be that smart say - I will try my hardest and that is all that matters.

3. When you feel upset about your self image try to ignore the media which influences many people. Think that you are you and people appreciate that.

I hope you enjoyed this post, remember to check out Ellie's blog and youtube and i will see you again very soon,

Bye xxx

Customised letter DIY!!!

Hi guys so today I have a DIY for you. You will need:
Cardboard or wood letter - I got mine from hobbycraft
Acrylic paint
Palette
PVA glue
Brush for paint
Different brush for glue
Scissors
Things to decorate with

First you need to paint the inside of the letter. It is best to do two coats for a better colour payoff.
This is what it should look like once you have painted it all.
Then you need to decorate it. I used fabric and buttons then glued it on with the PVA glue.
And this was my finished result I really like how it turned out. If you recreate it post it on Instagram or Twitter and tag me in it! I will see you guys soon for a very exciting post x

My lipstick collection!

Hi guys, I'm so sorry I have been very inactive, I have been extremely busy. During the summer holidays I will be doing a couple of posts about my birthday (which is tomorrow!!!) and a few holiday posts about my trip to Wales.

This post (as you can see from the title) is my lipstick collection. I have 6 lipsticks in total and I am going to talk a bit about them now.
(In order: M.A.C [matte finish] - honey love, sleek [sheen finish] - barely there, M.A.C [cremesheen finish] - creme cup, The body shop - 225, sleek [matte finish] - papaya punch, Rimmel Kate moss - 107)

I have three more neutral lipsticks and three brighter ones. I will go through them from lightest to darkest.

This first one is Honey love by M.A.C it is a matte finish but not very drying on the lips. It does wash me out a bit with subtle makeup but when I do darker eye makeup it looks very nice. This was £15.50.

The next on is barely there from sleek and it is a sheen finish. The colour is a neutral coral sort of colour and goes onto the lips really well. It was £4.99.

This one is from M.A.C and is called creme cup which is a cremesheen finish. It is such a pretty pink colour and will suit any makeup look. It was £15.50.

This lipstick is from the body shop and is in shade 225. I know that Velvetghost (Gabby) on YouTube loves this! It glides onto the lips so nicely and fades evenly. This was £10.

This is another lipstick from sleek but this is a matte red in the shade papaya punch. It is very drying on the lips so I would put lip balm on first but the colour pay off is good. This is £4.99.

My final lipstick in my collection is a very dark one! It is the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 107 I know Zoella (Zoe) loves this and I can understand why. I needed a show lipstick so I asked my mum to get me this one it is so matte but not at all drying and is only £5.49!

I will be back very soon for another post guys!

2000 page view Q and A!!!!!!

Hey guys, so yesterday I reached 2000 page views on this blog which I am very grateful for. Thank you to everyone who has read this especially YOU! I asked on my Instagram account (@tutusandtriumph),and asked you to come up with some questions for me to answer. So here they are!

What is your least favourite type of dance and why?

Street dance, because it seems really difficult to abandon all the ballet technique that I know. I don't do it a lot but it is very difficult to change my style of dance.
My favourite types of dance are ballet and pointé.

What is your favourite food and least favourite food?

My favourite food is pizza ( I know so unhealthy!) and my least favourite food is anything with fish in it.

Do you like spiders and other insects?

No but I can deal with small spiders but not big ones ( they freak me out).

How did you get into dance?

My mum always wanted me to dance so when I was three she took me to the dance school That I now still go to and I fell in love with it so quickly. I love how you can just release all your emotions through dance.

What is your favourite memory from this year?

I had my braces late last year and everyone saying my teeth have changed so much makes me feel so much better about myself. I love being with my friends as well. I am also very excited to meet sprinkle of glitter in a couple of days!

Thank you for reading this and I hope you learnt a little bit more about me,

Lots of love Tutus and Triumph

Lifestyle questions!

Hi guys I'm going to do a different kind of post today. As you probably know I mostly write about beuty things on my blog but I really like talking about life related things. So here is a few things about me! (I made these questions up if you were wondering x)

What subjects are you taking for GCSE's?

I am taking the compulsory subjects like Maths, English, Triple or double science (I don't know yet!), German and RE and then BTEC dance, BTEC health and social care and GCSE geography.

What do you want to do when your older?

I would have said to be a dancer a couple of months ago but now I realise that I wouldn't suit it. So I would like to study Phycology at A level and university and become a counsellor but dancing will always be my passion.

How do you deal with stress?

I get stressed out and panic a lot, probably about things I shouldn't panic about. I try to control my breathing which will always help and I try to put things in perspective a bit to help control myself when I get stressed.

What is your favourite thing to do in your spare time?

I dance 3 times a week out of school and do many shows at school. Right now we are 3 weeks away from our next one, which I am dancing in and I am really looking forward to it. I love how you can express yourself through dancing and when I dance I feel like I'm a different person. I also love blogging and doing my YouTube.

Sorry there were only a few questions but I hope you enjoyed learning a bit more about me! Feel free to ask me some questions for other blog posts like this and I will see you soon x

York!!!

Firstly sorry that I haven't been blogging as much as I should've this holiday, it's just that I've been very busy! But from Monday to Tuesday my family and I went to York and I wanted to do a blog post about it, so this is what I did!
It took us nearly 3 hours to get to York and when we got there we went straight to our hotel. It was called Hedley House and it was such a nice place to stay. After we had sorted everything out we went into the centre of town which was a quick walk through the gardens. I bought a couple of things that I included in my haul video on YouTube  ( tutus and triumph - recent beauty buys). We walked round the shambles ( little lanes with individual shops) which were so cute! Then we booked a table at Ask Italian for the evening and after that went to a little pub called the star in the city for a drink. We went back to the hotel then went back out for dinner.

The next day was very relaxed. First we had breakfast then we booked the hot tub out (only me and my little brother went in!) then we went out to the Minster. The Minster is basically a cathedral and you can learn about the history of York! Me and my dad walked up the tower to see a great view of the city! Then we went to Betty's tea rooms but it was too busy so we got a takeaway. We all got some of the fondant fancies in the picture. We then went to Pret for lunch and after that we went home.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I recommend every place that I mentioned! I will see you again soon, bye x

My drugstore makeup kit!

If you want to start out using makeup here are a few suggestions! Before I say anything, you don't need to get all of this but you can if you want to. You don't need to wear makeup what ever age you are because you shouldn't use it as a cover up, it should be used to make you feel more confident and to enhance your beauty. Bearing this in mind I hope you enjoy this post! ( All these prices are from superdrug but the last one is from boots!)

This is my Zoella makeup bag. It was £8 and it is such good quality and they come in a range of styles but I love guinea pigs!
These are my face products and they are all from Rimmel. The match perfection foundation is normally £6.99 but now it is reduced to £4.99, I have it in the colour Ivory, it comes in 11 different colours and it has SPF 18. The wake me up concealer is normally £5.49 but it is now £4.49, i have it in the colour Ivory and it comes in 4 different colours. Finally I have the stay matte powder this is £3.99 and i have it in the colour transparent. It comes in 6 different colours.
This is the sleek shimmer blush in the colour rose gold, there are 5 different colours. It is £4.49 and has a nice handy mirror for blush on the go!

This is the MUA undress me too eye shadow palette and it is £4. It has 12 matte and metallic shades. However the packaging does wear away easily!

This is the Rimmel scandal eyes xtreme mascara and it is £6.99. It will volumise and lengthens your lashes and it is such great quality.
These are my maybelline baby lips tinted lip balms. They are £2.99 and come in six different colours. I have (from left to right), pink punch, hydrate and cherry me (which is my favorite). They are so nourishing on the lips.

Finally it is my models own set of brushes and they are £10. There is a powder, blending, shading, angled and lip brush in this set and they are such good quality! I think they come in orange now but i'm not sure. They are definitely the same brushes!

I hope you enjoyed this post and enjoy life!
I will see you soon x

My Guinea Pigs xxx

So today I am going to introduce you to my guinea pigs ....

I had two guinea pigs from a breeder nearly four years ago, they were called Flapjack and Raisin (Yes I was about 10 when I got them and thought those names were cool) they both died at a young age. Raisin died first and Flapjack felt very lonely so we got Bumble (on the right) from a rescue centre. His owners apparently couldn't handle him but he is a very chilled piggie to say the least!
When Flapjack died Bumble was also very upset so we decided to get another rescue piggie. We were ment to have a girl who had been spade (so she cant have babies) but she died soon after we were told about her, then we were told about a baby boy guinea pig called Errol (on the left) I remember going to get him with one of my best friends because she had come round that day and he could fit in my hands! A year and a bit later and they are a lot older and still adorable. I hope to include them more in my blog soon!  See you soon and enjoy life xxx

MAC lipstick and Pastel Blue blog reviews!

Today i will be doing two reviews one on a MAC lipstick and one on my favorite blog ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MAC LIPSTICK

So today i went into town and i went into MAC because i got a £20 voucher and decided to spend it on a lipstick. I wanted a cremesheen finish because they are the most soothing on the lips. I also wanted a pinky nude, there were many in the cremesheen section and creme cup was my favorite. It is such nice shade and is very pigmented but has a glossy finish. It is £15.50.

PASTEL BLUE BLOG

So this is my favorite blog to read at the moment. It is so good! I discovered it from a friend at school, she came up to me and said have you read this blog it is great! Ever since i started reading it i have loved her posts. She has just posted a makeup tutorial and has asked for questions for a Q and A and if you cant contact her via her blog contact me via this blog or my instagram page @tutusandtriumph or email me at tutusandtrimph@gmail.com . Please support her as she is a great blogger and needs more support!

I used the models own shading brush and angled brush for this then i blended it with the models own blending brush.

I curled my eylashes with primark eyelash curlers and I used the rimmel scandal eyes xtreme mascara.
